How Scholarships Are Awarded
To ensure fairness and IRS compliance, all scholarship criteria are determined exclusively by Enlight Learning Foundation. For this year’s reading fundraiser, the Foundation has established the following eligibility requirements:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Reenrollment for the upcoming school year completed on or before December 31
- Student is on track in their academic progress as of December 25, based on Enlightium Academy's standard pacing guidelines
All students who meet these criteria will receive an equal share of the scholarship funds raised through the reading fundraiser. The school provides GPA verification and reenrollment confirmation, but all scholarship determinations are made independently by Enlight Learning Foundation.
How Scholarships Apply
- Scholarships apply to next school year’s tuition, not the current year.
- Funds are awarded directly by the Foundation to the school on behalf of each qualifying student.
- Participation in the reading fundraiser does not guarantee a scholarship; awards depend on eligibility and available funds.
- Donations cannot be directed toward specific students and must support the Foundation’s scholarship fund as a whole.
School Enrollment & Tuition Policies
Scholarships from the Enlight Learning Foundation are applied to the accounts of students who reenroll for the upcoming school year. To complete reenrollment, families must follow Enlightium Academy’s standard tuition and enrollment policies, which include:
- Signing the school’s annual tuition agreement
- Agreeing to the school’s full-year financial commitment
- Meeting any required reenrollment fees or deposits
- Selecting either an annual or monthly payment plan
If a student withdraws mid-year, the family remains responsible for the terms of the school’s tuition agreement. Scholarship funds applied to the student’s account remain with the school and are not returned to families.
This ensures that scholarships are used as intended—to support students who complete the academic year.
